Representing Yellow Tape in this saturated Fashion world is what I do. So when I got an invite for ELLE NL X BOTTER at the Amsterdam Fashion Week '24 I packed my suitcase and went to Amsterdam.

I love representing my own Brand and I love Dutch Fashion. Botter is also a Dutch Fashion Brand, identifying with Caribbean Couture. So I had to be at this party!

 

I live about 2 hours from Amsterdam, so I booked an hotel. I always sleep in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid, I love it. I want to live there so actually I'm manifesting the Universe out of it. At the PC Hoofdstraat there was THE Vogue Downtown get together.  
At this street you will find the high-end brands. It was such a fun night despite the fact that I was alone. I love having out with and by myself. First I had diner at L'Entrecôte et les Dames, I love this place!

After that I went to Vogue Downtown, it actually was a party! With an Fashion Parade, music, ice cream and a lot, a lot of fashion cuties!!

Later on I went back to my hotel, took a shower and changed my outfit and I walked to FOUR Amsterdam, about 3 minutes away from my hotel. 
Entering the store we got a shot of tequila, the ELLE X BOTTER September Issue, a collab cap, I love caps. And the pattern of the Upside Down Trouser Sweater. Because Botter doesn't gatekeepe! Finally a brand that calls out what "oldskool" fashion does, Gatekeeping. And I can tell you it's real! I've been working en trying to find an open door to fashion!

And as a party should be, there was a cocktail bar, a DJ and I met a few cool people.
I loved the invite and love to Party but there was 1 thing I had to do! And that was to talk to Anke de Jong, Editor in Chief of ELLE NL. So I did, I told her about Yellow Tape, gave her my card and she told me to e-mail her!

So here is to manifesting, working hard and making sure you dreams come true!!
